(Note: This post was written by Laurel Regan and originally published in a separate blog called “Why Windsor…”, which was later merged with Alphabet Salad.)
As I’ve been educating myself about the Windsor area, I’ve collected several resources that will help me plan for our move and life in a new city, some of which are featured in the “Links” column over on the right-hand side of this blog. Here are a few web sites that I’ve found particularly helpful:
- Windsor’s Websitedog – Links, links, and more links! This site is a great jumping-off point when looking for virtually any type of business, service, event, etc. in the Windsor area.
- WindsoriteDOTca – Local news blog featuring upcoming events, reviews, photos, etc.
- Talk Windsor – Message board and forum for Windsor and Essex County. Lots of nice people and helpful advice to be found!
Even though I can’t be there yet, it’s great to be able to make some connections and start learning about what’s happening and available in the city.

you are missing an couple of fantastic Windsor forums!
