Welcome, guest posters!

My first time attending a BlogHer conference was for BlogHer ’12 in New York City. The conference fell smack dab in the middle of my attempt to stick to a daily blogging schedule for the entire year, and you know what? I did it! Yes, even in the midst of a hectic conference schedule I managed to scrape together and share a post every day (though I had to miss bits of the conference in order to do so), and made it to December 31, 2012 with a full year of posts on the books.

My second conference experience was last year in Chicago for BlogHer ’13. After my marathon of daily blogging in 2012 I’d backed off considerably and was only posting sporadically, so it wasn’t a big surprise that I went the opposite extreme and didn’t write or post a thing until I was on the train home from the conference.

Now BlogHer ’14 in San Jose is fast approaching, and so far this year I’m once again on track with the whole daily posting thing. I would like to keep up with that, but I now know how hectic the conference weekend can get, so I’ve decided on an entirely different (and hopefully more balanced) approach.

Guest posts!

welcome

Tomorrow I’ll share my regular Tangled Tuesday post, then on the following days you’ll be treated to a series of posts from several of my talented and generous fellow bloggers who have very kindly agreed to lend a hand while I’m traveling and conference-ing.

I’m excited to introduce you to these blogging friends, and invite you to check in each day to read and comment on their posts. And I hope that throughout the week you make at least one new and delightful discovery through meeting them!

Welcome, guest posters!
