It’s good to stop, sometimes, and take a quick inventory of the things in your life for which you’re grateful at that moment in time. In no particular order, here is my own gratitude list for this moment in time.
- Being loved.
- Being employed.
- Being able to work part time.
- Receiving a generous bonus from my employer.
- Putting plans in place to visit my family this Christmas.
- Going to the doctor for a checkup and getting a clean bill of health.
- Accessible, affordable health care.
- Developing friendships.
- Fitness buddies.
- Walking trails.
- Book clubs.
- A busy social life.
What’s on your gratitude list at this moment?

This is something I try to focus on as much as possible, and I’m trying to get my husband to do, too. It has been a hard year for us, financially/medically/personally (family drama – my side of the family mostly). There are plenty of negatives at every turn, unfortunately, but SO many more positives, and this is what I try to remember. More than anything else, there are four walls around me and a roof over my head, and my children are healthy. :)P.S. We met at BlogHer ’12 – I just wanted to stop by and say hello.
Glad you stopped by! It’s all about keeping perspective on what’s important, isn’t it? Not always easy to do, though…
Great list. We all have so much to be thankful for and it’s nice to see someone take the time to show appreciation.

We really do, don’t we? I think it’s important to recognize these things.
