Today’s Gratitude List – Linkup No. 46 + 100 Happy Days – Day 2

Yes, I realize that it’s a rather complicated post title – but today (and each week until I finish the 100 Happy Days challenge), gratitude and happiness are walking hand in hand!

Today’s happiness is brought to you by the swirls and curls and sweet-smelling, spicy goodness of Nag Champa incense smoke, lazily undulating in time with the soft jazz soundtrack that was my reminiscent, contented Sunday morning.

100 Happy Days – Day 2

Hope you’ll join me in this week’s Gratitude Linkup!

(If you’d like a bit of background on why I started the Gratitude Linkup, check out this post.)

How to get involved in the Gratitude Linkup

  1. Write and post an entry in your own blog containing your gratitude list for a moment in time.
  2. Share the URL to your gratitude blog post by clicking the “add your link” button at the end of this post and filling out the information.
  3. Share the Gratitude Linkup with your blog readers by clicking the “get the InLinkz code” link at the end of this post and copy/pasting the appropriate code into your gratitude blog post.
  4. Visit some of the blogs listed in the Gratitude Linkup and comment on their posts.

My Gratitude List

In no particular order, here is my own gratitude list for this moment in time. I hope that after reading it you’ll go on to write and share your own!

  • My hair stylist, who brings out my best look and helps me feel beautiful.
  • Getting a free album – U2’s Songs of Innocence – from Apple via iTunes. (If you have iTunes, you can get it too!)
  • Hearing the thrilling news that Alphabet Salad was accepted into the BlogHer Publishing Network. I’ve applied several times over the years, but there was never an available space for my blog – I am so happy that this little dream has now come true!
  • Finding out that Peter’s niece is doing very well after her kidney transplant surgery and was able to leave the hospital.
  • Opportunities to catch up with friends we’ve been missing.
  • That I was able to solve a frustrating issue that occurred every time I tried to connect my laptop to the internet on a network other than my own. So grateful for people who share their “fixes” to technical issues, so that help is just a quick (and free) search away!
  • The 100 Happy Days Foundation, who are doing their part to spread happiness throughout communities. When you get a moment, check out some of the things they’re involved in – it’s inspiring!
