It’s been a fairly quiet week for me. Peter and I have put ourselves on a rather strict budget for the next while, and haven’t really been going out much (apart from our weekly trivia evening) or doing anything particularly exciting… so right now my gratitude is pretty much focused on my home and all the things in it.
Hope you’ll join me in this week’s Gratitude Linkup!

(If you’d like a bit of background on why I started the Gratitude Linkup, check out this post.)
How to get involved in the Gratitude Linkup

My Gratitude List
In no particular order, here is my own gratitude list for this moment in time. I hope that after reading it you’ll go on to write and share your own!
- Another 2.9 lbs lost at my last weigh-in, and having what it takes to stay on track over the past few weeks.
- My country’s health care system.
- Finding deliciously sweet, seedless green grapes on sale for $1.00/lb.
- Stubbornness, when it’s channeled in a good and productive direction.
- Running a series of program and system updates on my work computer and not having any serious issues or crashes.
- Refreshing, cleansing showers.
- The love and camaraderie between our two beautiful cats.
- Time and supplies and the ability to tangle.
- My iPhone with its camera, special lenses, and editing apps that allow me to express my creativity through photos.
- Weekend afternoon naps.

Similar to you, in keeping things low, like free entertainment – live bands and free movies outdoors – during the summer! Fun in the sun! 🙂 <3

Yes, there are lots of fun and free things to do in the summer – sometimes I forget that!

I’m grateful for my iPhone, too. I am grateful that I set up a recovery phone number and alternate email for one of my email accounts, and that they detected a hacking attack on it today and warned me, so I could change my password. And I’m grateful to my son, who set up a new printer for me today.

I am filled with deep gratitude for my new job as a RN Health Coach. I can’t believe that I am being paid very well to do something that I love and am gifted at. It took me 3 years to find this perfect fit. There is nothing in the world like finding your in the niche in the work place.

Loved that list. The afternoon siesta’s one of my favourites too and the weightloss – that’s something I want on my list too!

Grapes for $1.00/lb?! That’s a minor miracle. Congrates on your weight loss. I am only weighing myself once/mo. In the meantime, counting calories and excercising to beat the band. I think we re-committed at the same time: right after BlogHer14!

I weigh myself every day, just to stay aware of how things are going, but only log it in once a week. Happy that it’s going so well for me and hope it’s the same for you!
