Tangled Tuesday No. 98

So I thought I’d learned my lesson about getting busy and skipping my weekly Tangled Tuesday post, but apparently not. It’s been quite some time since my last batch of tangling goodness, so I have a whole pile of new stuff to share with you all. Hope you enjoy the deluge!

Laurel Regan, CZT

The past few months have been incredibly rewarding as I’ve begun to build my CZT practice, and though the starting stages are rather slow going I am consistently gaining knowledge and insights, as well as experiencing little delights and joys along the way.

Since my previous Tangled Tuesday post I have had the privilege of teaching two Introduction to Zentangle classes, the first of which was one-on-one and the second to a group of ten staff members at the University of Windsor – two totally different experiences, but both of them incredibly fun and rewarding!

Here are the lovely mosaics from both classes:

Going forward I have a number of classes scheduled through November and December, all of which are open for registration. If you’re in the Windsor-Essex (Ontario) region, I’d sure love to see you there!

P.S. – My new Moleskine planner has arrived, and I’ve been busily plotting out my class schedule for 2017 (with Felix’s help, of course!). If you’re interested in staying up-to-date on what’s to come, I invite you to sign up for the Laurel Regan, CZT mailing list.

Tangled Goodies

One of the pieces I finished since my previous Tangled Tuesday post was a holiday-inspired design which I turned into greeting cards and then made them available for sale.

I bought some for myself (these are the ones available to Canadians from Vistaprint via Square), and I am thrilled with how they turned out!

If you’re interested in purchasing some for yourself, they are available through several different outlets – all of the details are in this post.

New Tangles

Since my previous Tangled Tuesday post I have learned the following new-to-me tangles.

Work in Progress

I am so excited to say that my colouring book-to-be is, well, pretty much done! It’s currently awaiting review prior to publication, so it’s out of my hands for now, but I am hoping that it will be available for sale within the next few days. Watch this space!

I have several large ZIAs in process, each at various stages of completion. The one I’ve been working on most recently is a zendala on a sheet of Strathmore Toned Gray sketch paper (trimmed down to 9″ x 9″) using black ink, grey shading, and white highlighting. I haven’t taken a photo since adding some shading/highlighting, as that stage hasn’t progressed too far yet, but here’s a pic from when the inkwork was finished.
