Tangled Tuesday No. 79

I don’t know why, but it seems as though time has been been slipping away so quickly these days without much at all being accomplished (or at least that’s how it feels!). Still, I have been fitting in some tangling whenever I’m able and have a few goodies to share with you, so let’s get on with the latest Tangled Tuesday post!

Tangling Goodies

This week I finally received a much-anticipated little treat that had been out of stock since I ordered it back in December – a set of Scratch & Sketch Artist’s Tiles.

I had a chance to test one of the rainbow tiles (keep reading and you’ll see a photo in the “Challenges” section of this post!), and really liked the effect I was able to achieve. Such fun!

New Tangles

Since my previous Tangled Tuesday post I have learned the following new-to-me tangles.

From Life Imitates Doodles (Sandra Strait):

From a little lime (Helen Williams):

Work in Progress

Work on my colouring book-to-be is proceeding, albeit at a rather glacial pace. I have completed the design for a second page, but haven’t finished darkening and rounding the lines yet so would still consider it a WIP. Here’s hoping I’m able to make time to do more soon, or I’ll have to produce a colouring brochure instead of a book!

Challenges

Since my previous Tangled Tuesday post I have completed the following tangle challenges.

(Yes, I know that shamrocks actually have three leaves and not four… so technically this one isn’t really Irish after all. But you get the idea!)

Zentangle 132

Zentangle 132 for joey’s weekly tangle challenge #103 – Roman Numerals (III)

Zentangle 133

Zentangle 133 for joey’s weekly tangle challenge #104 – Roman Numerals (IV)

Zentangle 134

Zentangle 134 for Diane & Carolien’s Weekly Challenge #47: Tangle with A-#-X,
using Ahh, 3-loops-6, and XYP

Now on to a new week of tangling!
