Today’s Tangled Tuesday post is going to be short and sweet – short because I’ve been getting ready for houseguests and so have had very little time for tangling this week, but sweet because I DID manage to learn a few new patterns AND finish a couple of weekly tangle challenges. So let’s get on with it!
New Tangles
This week I learned Rosewood, C-Six, and Schiefer, all from TanglePatterns.com.
I also learned Tri-Bee by Beate Winkler of bea bea design.
Challenges
The Diva’s Challenge this week was a UMT (Use My Tangle) featuring Tri-Bee by Beate Winkler. Here’s the tile I created:

Zentangle 102 for The Diva’s Challenge #238
I also completed joey’s weekly tangle challenge #81, which was to use Rosewood by Sandra Strait in a monotangle. Here’s what I came up with:

Zentangle 103 for joey’s weekly tangle challenge #81
Now on to a new week of tangling!

For the first time I’m daring to dabble with paints and brushes, Laurel. No, I haven’t ventured to tangle yet! You inspire me!

Oh, good for you, Corinne! I’m dying to take a watercolour class, but so far every time one is offered in my area it’s on a night I have other commitments. Some day!

I do love the second one very much. Especially how you repeated it four times.

I love both of these, but I have to say that Rosewood tile is a stand out. It’s so perfectly drawn. I really can’t draw a straight line to save my life. Well done!

Laurel, I love both of your challenge tiles. The black aura around the very organic looking Tri-bee really makes it pop! Your beautiful use of Rosewood (a harder to draw pattern than it looks) in four repetitions is just wonderful and mesmerizing! Plus, (she whines) I want to be a learner of French and Italian!
