Tangled Tuesday No. 56

Happy Tangled Tuesday, Alphabet Salad readers! It’s been another busy week in my little corner of the tangling world, though perhaps not exactly in the way you might expect. Read on to find out more… and see a little eye candy along the way!

Tangled Goodies

So, did you think I had enough on my hands with my Etsy, Redbubble, Society6, and Zazzle shops? Well, apparently not, as I’ve now made homes for Ten Thousand Tangles on two new-to-me sites – ArtofWhere (featuring, among other goodies, the cutest clothing ever) and Spoonflower (offering fabric, wallpaper, and gift wrap).

Whew!

While my Spoonflower shop is still in its fledgling stages as I’ll need to order and approve proofs before I can offer any of my designs for sale, my ArtofWhere shop is up and running and I am SO excited about it! Here are a few of the fun pieces available:

Seriously, aren’t they cute?! I only wish I had the body to wear them myself – but thankfully my ArtofWhere shop also stocks lovely scarves (which fit any body!), so I am not left out in the cold. 🙂

Important Announcement!

Since my list of Ten Thousand Tangles shops is ever-growing (and, most likely, becoming rather confusing to everyone but me!), I took some time this week to complete a project that’s been on my mind for awhile – setting up a single page on Alphabet Salad gathering all of my portfolios and shops together in one easy-to-navigate hub (which will be updated as my online presence evolves). Rather smart, if I do say so myself! If you’d like to check it out, just look for the row of buttons below the Alphabet Salad header and click on * shop! to get there. Hope this helps!

New Tangles

I learned only one new tangle this week, but it’s a particularly wonderful pattern which I can see becoming a favourite of mine – Coil from TanglePatterns.com.

Work in Progress

I actually started several new projects this week, but one by one abandoned each of them in frustration. I’m not exactly sure why, but for whatever reason I just haven’t been able to “settle” on any one piece long enough to complete it. I keep telling myself to have patience and it will happen – here’s hoping!

Finished Projects

While I can’t show you any new finished projects, I can show you a photo of a new phone case I received this week from Redbubble featuring one of my own designs!

I was beyond pleased with how it turned out – it’s always exciting to see something in 3D rather that just on a screen! – but then, much to my dismay, I realized that I’d inadvertently ordered a case for the iPhone 6. Since I have an iPhone 5, this was rather unfortunate! I moaned and berated myself on Facebook, and a couple of days later was approached by someone who was interested in buying it from me. Yay! In the meantime I have ordered another case for myself (double- and triple-checking that I was choosing the right size!), which will hopefully arrive this week or early next. It’s all good!

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to complete The Diva’s Challenge this week, but will hopefully be back on track to get it done next time.

Now on to a new week of tangling!
