Tangled Tuesday No. 45

Welcome! In spite of a schedule that turned out to be far busier than I had originally anticipated, I still managed to squeeze in a TON of tangling this past week – so today’s Tangled Tuesday post is full to bursting with all sorts of fun stuff. Hope you enjoy!

Tangling Goodies

Pssst… just in case you missed it, I invite you to “Like” my brand new Ten Thousand Tangles Facebook Page so that you can stay up-to-date with what’s going on my tangled world.

(P.S. – Thanks so much to those of you who have already done so!)

New Tangles

Oops… I just realized that I didn’t actually learn any new tangles this week. Guess I was far too busy practicing the ones I already know, as you’ll see when you read on!

Tangling in Progress

With Easter on its way, I decided to do another holiday-themed ZIA. I can’t give you much just yet, but here’s a little taste of what’s to come.

It’ll have a lot more depth once I’ve done the shading, but I like to save that step until all the penwork is complete so that the pencil marks don’t smudge.

Finished Projects

I decided on a whim to do a tangled piece for one of last week’s Photo A Day Challenge pics. The prompt for the day was “hand-drawn” – and as you can see, I took it quite literally!

Then I moved on to finish my 8″ x 10″ WIP, and am very pleased with the end result (as well as the fact that it’s DONE – I’m more than ready to move on to something new!).

For The Diva’s Challenge this week, we were to use a spiral as our string. Not a problem for me, as I love spirals! Here’s my finished tile:

I kept this one fairly simple and only used three patterns in the spiral: Marasu, Pearlz, and Beedz.

And I think that’s about it… for now.

What a week it’s been!
