Tangled Tuesday No. 35

It’s been another quiet week in my little corner of the tangling world. Holiday stuff has been keeping me busy, and The Diva’s Challenge is on a break until the new year, so once again today’s Tangled Tuesday post is going to be a little sparse.

But I did learn some new tangles! Just a few this week – Akoya, Ha-nuka, Fjord, and Xmas-red, all from TanglePatterns.com.

Oh, and I also received a Christmas gift and subsequently purchased a book which, though not specifically tangling-related, are definitely going to play a part in future Zentangle®1-inspired pieces.

Water colour paints and book

My plan is to start with some very simple colour washes which I will use as backgrounds on which to add my tangle designs. I’ve seen this done by other tangle artists, and the results are quite lovely, so I’m looking forward to experimenting and trying something new.

More next week, I hope!

P.S.
