Tangled Tuesday No. 20 + 100 Happy Days – Day 4

Yes, it’s Tangled Tuesday… and it’s also another happy day! There were several things I could have used for today’s 100 Happy Days photo – the bright blue sky (which made a much-appreciated appearance after several days of greyness)… the long-term forecast on my weather app (which promised a return to summery conditions by the weekend)… U2’s “Songs of Innocence” album on my iPhone (which I am totally loving)… my yoga mat (which finally turned up – only three years after moving! – and allowed me to exercise without slipping all over the hardwood floor)… today, the happy stuff really does go on and on!

In the end, though, our two gorgeous fluffy boys won out. Felix and Oscar are such good buddies and love hanging out with each other – watching their “stories” from the front window, play-fighting, napping, sharing toys – and it’s so sweet to see just how well they get along. They make me happy every day, and I was reminded of this when I came downstairs and found them sleeping on the couch together (though of course they had to go and wake up for the photo!).

(Aren’t their tails – especially Felix’s – magnificent?!)

Now, on to the tangling!

New Tangles

This week I learned two patterns from Yoga for Your Brain by Sandy Steen Bartholomew – Pingline and Wingding.

If you’re following along in Yoga for Your Brain, you’ll notice that I’ve skipped a few of the designs. This isn’t because I don’t like or want to do them, but because I’ve previously learned them through one of my other books (there is often overlap and some repetition between the various Zentangle®1 books).

I also have a handful of intriguing new designs bookmarked on TanglePatterns.com – I haven’t had a chance to get to them yet, but am hoping to do so very soon.

Tangling-in-Progress

I’m carrying on with my tangled alphabet series (AKA The Project That Never Ends), currently working on the letter U (which I was supposed to finish this past week, but… didn’t).

Finished Projects

This week I DID finish the letter T in my tangled alphabet series.

I’m quite pleased with this one, and think it might just be one of my favourites so far!

Coming Soon

This week’s tangling goals include:

  • Carry on with my Zenletter collection – completing U, V, and W.
  • Continue adding products to Ten Thousand Tangles.
  • Photograph my previously-completed set of four Zendalas and set up listings to sell the originals in my as-yet-to-be-opened Etsy store. (Sigh. OK, this little project is now ON HOLD while I focus my energies on completing the alphabet series.)

P.S.

Previous posts in this series are all tagged Tangled Tuesday.
