Tangled Tuesday No. 24 + 100 Happy Days – Day 32

Today’s happiness is brought to you by a box of freshly-made Chinese honey buns (also known as cocktail buns). This particular sweet, coconut-filled dessert is one of the treats I often enjoyed when I lived in Victoria, so when we found ourselves back

in Chinatown this afternoon I just had to pick up a half dozen to bring home for the family. We haven’t eaten them yet (dinner consisted of enormous helpings of pasta with Italian sausage and mom’s homemade meat sauce, so we’re pretty full at the moment), but I know that when we do there will be gustatory happiness for all concerned!

Even though I’ve been on vacation this week, I actually do have a couple of tangling-related goodies to share with you, so let’s get on with another Tangled Tuesday post!

I was so tickled to see the piece I did for my mom perfectly matted and framed and hanging on my parents’ family room wall.

It took me by surprise, as I’d kind of forgotten that I’d even done it (I’ve been just a little consumed with the tangled alphabet series that followed completion of this piece!), but I was really happy when I discovered the finished product. I’m really pleased with how it turned out.

In terms of new work, I knew I wasn’t going to get much done in the way of tangling while I was away, but I did find some time to sit down and tangle a new bookmark.

I’ll be home soon, and will make finishing the last letter in my tangled alphabet a priority so that I can get the whole set scanned and start adding monogrammed products to Ten Thousand Tangles.

With that in mind, I would love to hear your opinions!

No commitment required, obviously, but I would really appreciate some feedback as to which monogrammed product (or products) you’d be most interested in purchasing and/or which you feel would be most likely to sell – for example, coffee mugs, T-shirts, tote bags, and so on. (Check out this page if you’d like to get a better idea of the many, many products available through Zazzle.) Any input you can offer would be very much appreciated, and will help me make the best use of my time when it comes to setting up the products for sale – so if you have a moment, please share your thoughts in the comment section below.

P.S.

Previous posts in this series are all tagged Tangled Tuesday.
