Tangled T-Day No. 12

Back again after some time away from blogging – but definitely NOT from tangling! – to offer up another Tangled T-Day update and a bunch of colourful tangled eye candy for your viewing pleasure. Hope you enjoy!

Laurel Regan, CZT

This past week I taught another “Introduction to Zentangle” class to three new students who produced some beautiful work.

I have one more introductory class coming up on Saturday, an advanced class the week after, our monthly tangle gathering the following week, and then… a break! I’ll be taking the entire month of May off from teaching while I jet across the ocean for my much-anticipated trip to Italy, and will resume classes in June.

New Tangles

Since my previous Tangled T-Day post I have learned the following new-to-me tangles.

From TanglePatterns.com:

From Pattern-Collections.com:

And with that, I’ve completely filled my eleventh tangle pattern sketchbook and learned a total of 1,162 patterns since I started tangling in June, 2013. On to Sketchbook 12!

WIP

I have a couple of “secret” projects on the go – one a commission for a friend, and the other a new venture for tangled products I’ll be offering for sale both at Walkerville Artists’ Co-op and on Etsy. Watch this space for more details in the weeks to come!

Finished Projects

I spent quite a bit of time creating a series of one-of-a-kind tangled watercolour bookmarks, which are currently available for sale at the Co-op.
