Problogging?

Last night I participated in the first of four classes that are part of an online course called Profitable Blogging for Beginners, taught by Tanya from Blogelina.

I originally started to blog because I love writing and enjoy having a public outlet for my work, not because I ever hoped to make money from blogging. That said, the course sounded interesting and I figured that even though I’ve never actually given any thought to the idea of problogging, I’d probably be able to pick up some good instruction from the course regardless.

I was correct! I really enjoyed the session, and am looking forward to the next three classes. I’m still not sure whether or not I want to be (or even can be) a problogger, but I can already tell that taking the course is going to help me become more focused and goal-oriented when it comes to my blogging, and that can only be a good thing.

One more step towards becoming a better writer!
