Last winter seemed to drag on and on and on and ON… and just when you thought it might finally be over, yet another cold snap or dump of snow would rear its ugly head and cause your hopeful heart to sink. The picture I chose for today’s Photo Friday challenge prompt of “Weather” was taken on one of those days, when after a period of feeling as though Spring might actually be on the way, a sudden flurry showed up out of nowhere to darken the skies.
Thankfully, in this particular case that’s all it was – a last-gasp flurry – and Spring DID arrive shortly thereafter.
As it always does.
What’s your weather like?

Hahaha! I’m not surprised we both chose snow for our weather shots, Laurel. 😀 Your photo has a beautiful, dramatic effect. Have a good weekend.

Our weather isn’t anything quite like that! It’s a little chilly here in South Mississippi this morning, but we’re getting ready to be in the 70s this weekend. I can’t wait for that!
I know this photo is part of a link-up, but if you’re looking for another Photo Friday link-up to join, I’ve just started one 😉 No theme or prompt, just a photo post from the week. I’d love it if you’d stop by!

What a weather! I love the snow but as luck would have it I seem to be always commuting between the warmer parts of the USA. Have a great weekend 🙂

It’s certainly not a great experience Laurel when spring seems to be around the corner and then flurries or a snowstorm hits. I am SO familiar with that weather, albeit quite some time ago when I used to live in Toronto and suburbs in Ontario, Canada. Now I get downpours, monsoons it seems of torrential downpours as we have experienced on and off lately the past week or so. Where are my ‘rubber duckies’ (what I call rubber boots) when I need them?! 😉 <3

I definitely remember the rain from my many years in Victoria – and the endless grey days! It’s an absolutely gorgeous part of the country, but I’m actually enjoying living in a place where the sun shines a LOT (even if there is some snow)!

It really is pretty – especially when it first falls and hasn’t had a chance to get all dirty!
