It didn’t take long at all for me to decide which of my shots to use for today’s Photo Friday prompt! I took this one in May when we were outside doing some cleanup in the back yard, with Oscar and Felix supervising from Peter’s office window. I tweaked some settings and added some filters and – though I didn’t know at the time that it would end up being a perfect choice for today’s Photo Friday theme – ended up with a very “moody” photo. Wouldn’t you agree?

Great photo Laurel. That is my mood today as well, “moody.”
As fall approaches I am gearing up to make the time to create, other than in my writing. I have a couple nice cameras and a river across the street. Thanks for the inspiration.

Yes, I do agree! Both Oscar and Felix look like they are supervising and keeping a close eye on things below. Great photo!

I got caught trying to discern the mood of the cats.
“We can make this jump.”
“What if someone closes the window while we are away?”
“Oh, and dogs…”

I thought Oscar and Felix were dogs so the cats surprised me, albeit delightfully – I love cats! – and I love the juxtaposition of the lines with the curves of the cats bodies (outlines and markings). 😉 <3
