I can’t help it: I think our four cats are gorgeous, AND rather photogenic to boot. I also think they lend themselves well to black and white photography in particular, so for today’s Photo Friday challenge prompt of “Monochrome” I can’t resist inundating you with pictures of the furbeasts. (OK, maybe not inundating – I’ll stick to just one photo of each, and trust that’s not breaking the rules too much!)

I just adore our little guys (and girl) – and they are definitely four of my favourite subjects. Thank you for indulging me, and hope you enjoyed the photos. 🙂
Happy Friday!
Got any exciting plans for the weekend?

Absolutely beautiful! I wish I wasn’t deathly allergic! Every time I’m around cats my eyes swell shut and if it’s super bad off to the E.R. I go. Not even kidding, and it totally sucks because I think a cat would be the perfect pet for me.

Thank you! And what a shame – but I totally get it, as I have a really horrible allergy to rabbit dander that does the same thing to my eyes and makes my throat close up. Allergies are NOT fun.

What a fun idea! I take tons of pictures of my cats, but I’ve never done them in anything but color. Now I’m thinking I may go back and edit some of them into black and white to see how they come out. Although my critters, like yours ARE black and white to start with, that seems almost like cheating! My Moo Moo is a lovely jersey cow pattern, and Yeti is a beautiful fluffy Himalayan in sort of a french vanilla shade. I actually dared to wear a black t-shirt today and I look like a float in the cat hair parade!

Your cats sound lovely! And I totally hear you on the cat hair thing – I’ve pretty much given up on ever wearing anything that isn’t covered in the stuff.

Those cats have been in front of a camera a time or two. Those pics are every bit as good as senior pics for high school! Our school should hire you.
