This month I’m participating in the October photo a day challenge, as a way to get into the daily habit of using the camera on my new iPhone, and I’ll be posting my challenge photos as part of my Alphabet Salad blog entries.

Reading this month’s book club selection accompanied by a soft, warm cat curled up at my side is a very nice way to spend a Saturday afternoon!

Nice, and coincidental–we just finished reading that book for our book club. It’s really fascinating.

  I’d read it before, 8 or 9 years ago, but read it through again so it would be fresh in my mind for the discussion. Very interesting book!

  For some reason she can’t STAND having a camera pointed at her – she gets really weird about it! I usually have to sneak pictures of her.
