Midway through the month already, huh? It’s hard for me to wrap my head around this rather whirlwind-like passage of days, but I guess what it means is that it’s time for me to post the first half of my September photos for the Fat Mum Slim Photo A Day Challenge.
I’ve been sharing my photos on Instagram, Twitter, Flickr, and the FMS Photo A Day group on Facebook, but thought I’d also periodically do a round-up of my photos here on Alphabet Salad for the benefit of my readers who aren’t active on any of these platforms.
Hope you enjoy!
(Clicking on any of the photos below will take you to my Flickr account… and, depending on your browser, hovering over them will give you – in some cases – an explanation as to how I interpreted the prompt.)

I love following your Instagrams – they definitely speak to my aesthetic. I’m especially interested in your interpretation of your wardrobe…it looks like you wear mostly gray, black and white. I dress almost entirely in those neutrals, with perhaps a few browns & beiges. When I buy something with color, even with the best of intentions, it sits in my closet unworn.

Thank you, Cyndi! I do wear a lot of black/dark colours, though have tried to incorporate more brights into my wardrobe over the past few years… and as a matter of fact, many of the scarves in this black-and-white photo are actually coloured!

Visiting from NaBloPoMo.
Lovely photographs! I’ve heard of Zentangle before, but still am not sure what it’s all about. The designs are amazing! And I’m guessing you like cats. :O)

Thank you, LuAnn! Zentangle is a great pastime – if you’d like to learn more about it, check out my “Tangled Tuesday” series of posts on this blog. And yes, I definitely like cats – good thing, since we currently have four of them! 🙂

I love all of these but my kite was my favorite. 🙂 You should put all of these photos into a book, it would make a great coffee table book!
