Photo A Day Challenge – June 1-17, 2015

More than halfway through June? How can it be?! Guess it’s time for me to share my first batch of photos from the Fat Mum Slim Photo A Day Challenge.

Incidentally, this month I’d definitely put extra emphasis on the word challenge, as several of the emotion-oriented prompts nearly had me stymied. Believe me, trying to figure out how to express a feeling in a photo is rather mind-bending! I did manage to meet the challenge each day, though, and was incredibly gratified when my “Fear” photo generated 270 “Likes” and a whole pile of positive comments in the FMS Photo A Day Facebook group. Talk about overwhelming! That validation really made me glad I pushed myself to think of something creative and then persevere until I came up with a photo that satisfied me.

I’ve been sharing my photos on Instagram, Twitter, Flickr, and the FMS Photo A Day group on Facebook, but thought I’d also periodically do a round-up of my photos here on Alphabet Salad for the benefit of my readers who aren’t active on any of these platforms.

Hope you enjoy!

(Clicking on any of the photos below will take you to my Flickr account… and, depending on your browser, hovering over them will give you – in some cases – an explanation as to how I interpreted the prompt.)
