Where is your favourite place to blog?
It’s not something I do all that often – both schedule-wise and financially speaking, it’s just not practical when I’m blogging every day – but one of my favourite things to do is to take myself out to a cosy, bustling, atmospheric café for a session of writing.
I love staking claim to a private table, accompanied by my iPad and a cup of good, strong, hot coffee.
I love being marooned on my small island, surrounded by chatter and music and the hiss of the espresso machine, cocooned in thought and absorbed in the process of creating.
I love being in the midst of the activity, yet separate – in it, but not of it.

I recently read that that’s the best place to write, somewhere with background noise rather than a quiet house. I love that too. Go Starbucks!
