Happy Tangleversary to Me!

Exactly two years ago today (that would be June 9, 2013 for those of you keeping track at home!) I opened a new-to-me book (One Zentangle A Day: A 6-Week Course in Creative Drawing for Relaxation, Inspiration, and Fun by Beckah Krahula), learned my very first tangle pattern (“Static”), and promptly fell in love with Zentangle®.

Having the feeling that tangling was going to be my thing, I immediately set up a Tumblr called Ten Thousand Tangles to share my creative journey (the good, the bad, AND the ugly!) with anyone who might be interested… and now here I am, celebrating two years, 584 Tumblr followers, and a whole bunch of learning and creativity along the way.

I can hardly believe it!

I’ll admit, this auspicious day kind of crept up on me – I mean, if I’d realized that my two year tangleversary was actually going to fall on a Tangled Tuesday, I definitely would have tangled something special to mark the day! Since I missed the boat on that one, however, I thought it would be a good opportunity for me to share a small selection of my finished Zentangle-inspired art (ZIA) pieces as a bit of a retrospective.

Hope you enjoy!
