It is a crazy – and I mean crazy – busy week for me, so I’m not sure how much time I’ll have to devote to writing… but I do want to keep up with my daily blog posting as there’s less than a month left until the one-year mark.
I can’t stop now!
So, in the spirit of sticking with my self-imposed commitment (albeit in a speedily-executed way!), I present to you a photo of our newly-decorated Christmas tree.
Peter and I (well, mostly me as he’s still on one leg!) set it up on the weekend. I hadn’t particularly been looking forward to Christmas before that point, but I’m very glad to say that the Christmas spirit seems to have crept up on me in spite of myself.
Do you set up a tree each year?

Beautiful tree! Yes, we set up a REAL tree every year–I’d never have an artificial one though my husband keeps hinting at it. That smell drifting through the house is just Christmas to me.

Thank you! I’ve never had a real tree since I’ve been out on my own – years of condo living where you weren’t allowed to bring in real trees got me in the habit of artificial ones. But wreaths are great for bringing in that evergreen smell!
