I’m tangling from A to Z – B is for…
…Bask-it
…Blooming-Butter
…Brax
(Pssst… new here? Welcome to Alphabet Salad! For some background on how and why I got involved in the Blogging from A to Z Challenge, check out this post… and, if you’d like to catch up on my progress to date, all of my challenge posts are tagged with Tangling from A to Z. Glad you stopped by, and hope you’ll return!)

Tangle Practice
Wow… apparently “B” is also for “Better wait until you’ve finished your morning coffee and breakfast” – because as you can see, I really struggled with today’s new tangles! Maybe I wasn’t fully awake, but for whatever reason my brain just didn’t want to cooperate. I’ll have to practice these ones some more.

Tangle Practice – Bask-it

Tangle Practice – Blooming-Butter

Tangle Practice – Brax
Border & String
Just to carry on with the whole A to Z theme, I thought I’d make each day’s “string” resemble the appropriate letter for the day. I can’t always promise that the finished tiles will look anything like the letters – it all depends on which tangles I’m using and how the drawing evolves. We’ll just have to see what happens!

Hmmm, what’s a tangler? Does it have to do with string? My electronics cords always get tangled. I’m also participating in the Ultimate Blog Challenge, doing a 30-day course called “Grow Your Business Online.”
I enjoyed your drawings!

Tangles fascinate me. How did they become a fad? How do you find time?

Laurel, this is SO cool! I’m not a big doodler, but this idea of patterns is really different. You’ve totally hooked me, I want to see more. (This is so bad for my productivity…)
Great job with today’s “B”s. I think the Bask-it looks the most challenging!

Thank you so much, Lauren! They were definitely challenging today – I hope tomorrow’s are a little easier (or that I’m a little more awake when I do them)!

I love how creatively you are using the A to Z challenge to inspire your tangling and your tiles. I love Blooming Butter, always a favorite. I like the Bask-it too and will go practice some of these today. Thanks for inspiring me to tangle.

Wow…struggled or not, the finished ‘BzerTangle’ is great with the B askit graphic standing out from the less dense background of blooming butter and brax. I soooo want to grab my paper and pencil/pen/colored pencils and do this. Thanks for the inspiration, and I do love that you are doing one for each letter.

Hi, you are close to me on the A – Z list of blogs, so I stopped by. Your finished drawing is clever and far more than I could do before coffee. I’ll be back to find out more about how you do these.

B is for Bring It, Girlfriend. These are fresh. Also, since we’re doing B today, I love the borders – those subconcious pencil squares you drew so freely to contain your tangles. They show a lot of expression about how enthusiastic you feel when you are about to do a new tangle. Its the line quality all my instructors looked for in art school.

In a way, it makes it easier – I don’t have to decide on which “string” to use, as it’s already decided for me!
