Well, after a great deal of anticipation, The Hunger Games – the movie, I mean – is actually here! OK, so it’s really a few hours until it’s officially here (anyone going to a midnight show?! …in costume, perhaps?!), but it’s finally within sight and, if all goes according to plan, I’ll be seeing it tomorrow afternoon!
*happy dance*
I haven’t been this excited about a movie in I don’t know how long – even more so than I was for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
, I think, and I was pretty hyped about seeing that one. It’s just that The Hunger Games trilogy
was so very wonderful – if you haven’t read the series yet, please consider doing so. I highly recommend it – you will NOT be sorry!
Anyway, this is going to be a quickie post, because just a few minutes ago I made a spontaneous decision to re-read the first book tonight so it’ll be fresh in my mind when I see the movie tomorrow.
Off to Panem via my Kindle!
Did you read The Hunger Games trilogy?

I wish I could get as excited about this movie as you are, but unfortunately I can’t. I hope that it lives up to your expectations though and that you thoroughly enjoy it!

Oh– I’ve heard so much about this movie–I’d like to read the book first though. My 6th grader is reading it now. Maybe I will borrow his copy when he’s done then we’ll go see the movie!

It’s a pretty quick read, Jenn- I finished it in a few hours – and it’s VERY good! Suggestion, though – you might want to have access to the second and third books as well, as if you like the first one you will DEFINITELY want more!
