Archive 2004: Progress Report on Market Bag #2

(Note: This post was written by Laurel Regan and originally published in a separate blog called “Fibre Yarns”, which was later merged with Alphabet Salad.)

Adapted from LiveJournal entry originally posted November 6th, 2004:

Remember the trouble I had with the base of the last bag I made? Well, I struggled with it again while making this bag… but after ripping out my work around 4 times (I kinda lost track, but it was at least 4!), I managed to get the base’s sides to pretty much match. Yay me! Sometimes being incredibly stubborn pays off… eventually. *grin*

Now I’ve started in on the mesh portion… and let me just take a moment to sing the praises of having a comfortable hook to work with! I suppose a seasoned crocheter could crochet with pretty much anything, but I’m still new at this and do so much better when I have tools that “fit” me.

Now I’m off to work on my project some more!
