Archive 2004: Further Update on Market Bag #1

(Note: This post was written by Laurel Regan and originally published in a separate blog called “Fibre Yarns”, which was later merged with Alphabet Salad.)

Adapted from LiveJournal entry originally posted October 30th, 2004:

Well, the main bag portion is done (yay!), and I’m working on the strap now… but as I’ve got the beginnings of a splitting headache (too much staring at black wool all day?), I think I’m going to put the project aside for the night. I may well finish it tomorrow, though!

P.S. – Before I forget, my costs for this project were as follows:

Three balls of Lily Sugar ‘n Cream cotton yarn (70.9g/2.5 oz), black – $2.29 each – total $6.87 plus tax.

I suspect I’ll have some yarn left over – maybe half a ball?

The pattern was a freebie.
