My work has been done, my voice mail message changed, my e-mail auto-responder set, and my laptop powered down and clicked shut. My home office is now closed for business until August 7th, and I am on a break!
If all goes according to plan, this coming week will feature a bunch of fun stuff including a visit to the salon for a haircut, a couple of dinners out with husband and friends, a walk with my walking group, a visit to the day spa for my first (professional) pedicure, and, oh yeah, flying to New York for BlogHer ’12!
I think it’s all finally starting to sink in that I’m going. I still have a lot to do to prepare myself, but now that I’m officially on vacation I should have no problem making things happen!

Enjoy your vacation! A day at the spa sounds so nice!I do have some plans…camping in a few days with my boys, New York with my husband to pick up my daughter and spend a few days in the big city with her and I’m closing out the summer with 10 days at a beach house. Cheers!
