31DBBB: A request to my readers

Despite how it might look at first glance (and depending on where your mind goes!), “31DBBB” does not refer to some bizarre, unbalanced bra size (sorry if I disappointed you!)… rather, “31DBBB” is an acronym for a book by Darren Rowse of ProBlogger called 31 Days To Build A Better Blog.

I first heard about this book a couple of months ago when I took a four-week course through Blogelina called Profitable Blogging for Beginners. I bought the book shortly after taking the classes, and am now getting down to working through the exercises. I can already tell that it’s going to be incredibly valuable… and at the same time, as is the case for almost anything of value, fairly challenging.

My first task is to develop an “elevator pitch” for my blog. This is more difficult than you might think for a “nicheless” blog such as Alphabet Salad! One of the suggestions in 31DBBB to help you develop your “elevator pitch” is to ask others to describe your blog in a sentence… so, dear and valued readers – would you consider taking a minute to help me out?

Please describe my blog in a sentence.

(More than one sentence is fine too!)

Thank you so much for giving some time and thought to this – I really appreciate it, and greatly look forward to hearing your perspective!
