30DOC, Day 3

Today found us enjoying first banjo then blues music (both live), eating strawberries and ice cream, trying funnel cake (first time ever) with strawberries and whipped cream, watching a magic show, browsing booths of random tchotchkes, talking and laughing and people-watching, entering a couple of contests, trying a pogo stick (first time freshly made at a carnival, not out of a box from the grocery store), absorbing some sun, being blown by the wind, and hugging a large strawberry, all at The LaSalle Strawberry Festival.

Another fun day together, another new experience as fledgling Windsorites!

Apart from my pogo stick, I didn’t see anyone selling anything that resembled corn at the festival, so I had to rely on my own imagination for today’s 30 Days of Creativity project.

June 3, 2012 prompt:
CORN – Do you like it on the cob or in pieces cut off neatly in a bowl?

In case you missed it, this is what I’m doing throughout the month of June, and why. I’ll be posting all of my projects to my 30 Days of Creativity 2012 board on Pinterest.
