30DOC, Day 26

How convenient! Today is my friend Heather’s birthday, which works out rather nicely for me considering today’s 30 Days of Creativity prompt. This one’s for you, Heather (even though I know how you feel about trash crafts)!

June 26, 2012 prompt:
BIRTHDAY – Candles, cakes, gifts… (unless it’s your 21st, in which case you don’t remember any of that.)

06-26-2012 30DOC

(If you want to see this in all its imperfect waxy goodness, clicking on the photo will take you to the larger version on Flickr.)

In case you missed it, this is what I’m doing throughout the month of June, and why. I’ll be posting all of my projects to my 30 Days of Creativity 2012 board on Pinterest.

I like this!   You are certainly becoming quite the expert at making these little sculptures!

    This is very cute!

I remembered it was Heather’s birthday, yesterday, because it was also the birthday of my father. He would have turned 72 this year. Which seems odd to think about, now . . .

But I have a built in way of remembering Heather’s birthday!
This celebration of yours is adorable.

Thank you, Cari! And thank you for sharing about your father.
