You know, sometimes things just don’t work out the way you’d pictured or planned. For example, today’s 30 Days of Creativity project. Whether the wax was too sticky, or my fingers too fumbly, I don’t know… but it all just started taking too long and getting too frustrating, so I decided to leave it alone. It’s not so bad, just not what I was working towards.
Ah, well.
June 24, 2012 prompt:
COFFEE – It jolts us awake and gives us a nice reason to leave our desk every few hours.
(If you want to see this in all its imperfect waxy goodness, clicking on the photo will take you to the larger version on Flickr.)
In case you missed it, this is what I’m doing throughout the month of June, and why. I’ll be posting all of my projects to my 30 Days of Creativity 2012 board on Pinterest.

Sue said what I was going to say–the steam tops it off perfectly!

Thank you! I’m glad that part worked out – the pieces were so tiny and sticky, and I thought I’d never get them placed correctly!

Well, now, see?
This is my favorite sculpture of yours. (So far, anyway!)
I think it is perfect. So very cute!
