30DOC, Day 15

We’re halfway through the challenge! I can’t believe I’ve stuck with it this far, especially since this sort of creativity isn’t my usual method of expression, but I’m proud of myself for doing so! It’s been a ton of fun.

When I was a kid, one of my favourite books was a Sesame Street “Little Golden Book” called The Monster at the End of this Book (starring lovable, furry old Grover!). As soon as I saw today’s 30 Days of Creativity prompt, I thought of that book, so this project is a tribute to childhood loves.

June 15, 2012 prompt:
MONSTER – Under your bed, in your closet, or Where the Wild Things Are; It’s coming for you.

(If you want to see this in all its imperfect waxy goodness, clicking on the photo will take you to the larger version on Flickr.)

In case you missed it, this is what I’m doing throughout the month of June, and why. I’ll be posting all of my projects to my 30 Days of Creativity 2012 board on Pinterest.

Happy Friday! Have a great weekend!

Where do you get these squishy red things? So funny. And envious of this challenge; much more fun then the time I’ve spent getting my new WP site up and running…not as if I’ve been writing much!

    Cutest Grover ever!

Tonight at the grocery store, this brand of cheese was my impulse buy. Of course, I’ll think of you every time I open one and have some cheese!

LOL! I still think the Babybel company should at least offer me a couple of free coupons for their product, with all the free advertising I’m giving them!

Love, love, love The Monster at the End of This Book. Read it to my baby brother and to all my kids. And love the little wax Grover, too. 🙂
