30DOC, Day 13

I have never had the opportunity to build a bicycle… until today, that is, thanks to my 30 Days of Creativity project! And it was fun. I’m telling you, if I could find a way to get someone to pay me to make little mini Babybel cheese wax sculptures all day, I would totally do it!

June 13, 2012 prompt:
BICYCLE – Two wheels of freedom. Go for a short ride, a long ride, or even a Nice Ride, just remember to enjoy it.

(If you want to see this in all its imperfect waxy goodness, clicking on the photo will take you to the larger version on Flickr.)

In case you missed it, this is what I’m doing throughout the month of June, and why. I’ll be posting all of my projects to my 30 Days of Creativity 2012 board on Pinterest.

Now, off to my “real” job… the one that pays me.

Laurel Storey, CZT – Certified Zentangle Teacher. Writer, reader, tangler, iPhoneographer, cat herder, learner of French and Italian, crocheter, needle felter, on-and-off politics junkie, 80s music trivia freak, ongoing work in progress.

Okay, this is my favourite one so far!!!  Perfect!  🙂

I can’t believe the detail. Do you save these after you do them? One day I feel like there’ll be a cheese wax museum showcasing all your creations.

I have been saving them, yes – I’m working on figuring out a way to keep them all together in a non-dust-collecting way that doesn’t include the possibility of melting!
