Quote of the day:
Consider how hard it is to change yourself and you’ll understand what little chance you have in trying to change others.
~ Jacob M. Braude
This quote has absolutely nothing to do with today’s 30 Days of Creativity project.
It’s just a good reminder.
June 12, 2012 prompt:
STRING – Just add a knitting needle and you can make anything.
(If you want to see this in all its imperfect waxy goodness, clicking on the photo will take you to the larger version on Flickr.)
In case you missed it, this is what I’m doing throughout the month of June, and why. I’ll be posting all of my projects to my 30 Days of Creativity 2012 board on Pinterest.

Reggie asked me what kind of cheese it is you’re buying to get the red wax. I couldn’t remember. Could you enlighten me please? 🙂
For sure… it’s called Mini Baby Bel. They’re little round single-serving cheeses that come packaged in a netting bag.
Oops, that would be Babybel! But you get the idea. 🙂
Love it! The quote and the waxy creation!
Thank you! 🙂

Absolutely love the quote, Dawn, the wisdom of which sunk in to my thick brain a few years back! I’ve recently started knitting again and this was a reminder to more of it 🙂
I am going to learn to knit (beyond a basic scarf) one of these days! So far crocheting has been more my thing, but seems like knitting offers a whole other scope of possibilities.

As others have mentioned = I love the quote. It is marvelous. And a great reminder.
Your sculpture is also great.
You are very talented.
Such special pieces!
Thank you so much!
Another excellent creation. I’m finally getting caught up on my blog reading after a few days of being wrapped up in other stuff.
Thank you! I’m finding it rather tough to keep up on blog reading now that summer activities are in full swing, but I’ll get to all of them eventually!
