100 Words – Attitude Balance

You know, I would never wish to deny anyone the right to free speech… or prevent any individual from honestly speaking their mind… or expect roses, sunshine, and smiles all the time.

But I do wish there was a rule – or perhaps a strong social convention – that if one chooses to point out the negative, or complain, or criticize, they would be obliged to follow up with a sincere statement about something positive, an expression of gratitude, a word of praise.

A lot of rotten stuff happens in this world, for sure. I get that.

But how about some balance?
