Today there is cause for a milestone celebration in my little corner of the blogosphere, as this is – wait for it – the 1,000th post I’ve shared with you, my readers, since opening Alphabet Salad in August, 2009! I’m pretty lousy at math, but even I can figure out that this works out to an average of around 200 posts a year (am I right?!), which I’d say is pretty darn decent.
*pats self on back*
Meanwhile, since my brain is having a tough time coming up with a way to photograph my happiness at reaching 1,000 posts, here’s a picture of something completely different that’s also making me happy today – my new manicure! I picked the colour because I liked it, but found out afterward that it was actually a magnetic polish which moves around and forms itself into 3D-looking designs when hovered over (while still wet) with a special tool.
Isn’t that fun? I’m telling you, I’m tickled every time I look at them! Just another example of how sometimes it’s the little things. 🙂
