100 Happy Days – Day 13

Those of you who know me really, really well know that I have a bit of a “thing” for office supplies and organizational tools. I absolutely adore them and, geeky as it might sound, could spend ages happily wandering through the stationery aisles on a blissful quest for binders and paper and pens, oh my!

So today’s happiness is brought to you by – wait for it – a binder. Ah! But not just any binder! See, I’ve been working on getting my blogging calendars and spreadsheets (Geek Admission #2) organized, and was wistfully wishing that someone would invent something that was a cross between a binder, a notebook, and a folder. I wasn’t exactly sure what form that would take, but I knew I wanted something that was a) less bulky than a binder, but that still had rings so I could add and remove pages as needed, and b) light and flexible like a notebook or folder. I seriously doubted that I’d find such a thing, so headed to the store to pick up a regular old binder instead… but couldn’t resist a stroll through the office supplies (Geek Admission #3) while I was there. Well, I’m glad I did, because I found exactly what I was looking for but didn’t know existed!

100 Happy Days – Day 13

OK, I realize that it doesn’t look like much of anything from my photo, but take my word for it that this is really quite a wonderful product (and no, this is not a paid review… just my opinion!). It has a flexible plastic cover (like a folder) that folds over on itself (like a notebook), rings (like a binder) that are flexible and won’t break or misalign, and comes with four plastic pocket dividers and a whole bunch of punched paper (both lined and graph) to help me organize my documents. (You know what? Here’s a link to the product page, so you can see it in a little more detail than my sorry little picture provides.)

So today I gleefully brought out my label maker (Geek Admission #4) and had great fun (Geek Admission #5) setting up and organizing my new blogging folder/notebook/binder.

What can I say? Office supplies, new products, getting organized… there’s a whole lot of happy all in one place. 🙂
